Jack White loves Coca-Cola so much that he wrote them a jingle “The Right Thing To Do.” Coca-Cola of course shares The White Stripes red-and-white color scheme. A commercial was filmed but the ad only ran one-time.
White who had previously been weary of licensing songs for brand ads said,
“I certainly wouldn’t want a song that I’d already written to be used on a commercial”. He added, “That seems strange. [But] to be asked to write something particular along one theme of love in a worldwide form that I’m not really used to appealed to me.”
Here is the full length version.
White also famously used a Coke bottle to make a guitar for the movie “It Might Get Loud.”
