Paul McCartney joined Ringo Starr in a Beatles reunion at New York’s Radio City Music Hall last night (July 7).
For the finale of Ringo’s 70th birthday celebration gig, Yoko Ono, Joe Walsh, Angus Young, Nils Lofgren, Foreigner’s Mick Jones and others joined Starr to sing ‘With A Little Help From My Friends‘.
However, once the stage was partly cleared and the crowd prepared to make their way to the exits, a roadie appeared on stage brandishing Paul McCartney’s famous Hofner bass. McCartney than ran on to play ‘The White Album”s ‘Birthday‘ with Starr playing drums.
