For the Fall of 2009 issue of Purple Magazine, Sean Lennon and his girlfriend Kemp Muhl recreated the famous Rolling Stone cover of his parents, Yoko Ono and John Lennon, taken by Annie Leibovitz on December 8, 1980 the day Lennon was murdered.
Sean Lennon caught a lot of flak for the photo. When asked about it he said…
“Basically what happened was, we were in bed. We kind of thought that it would be funny if she rolled over and did that shot. It was not set up at all. I didn’t want them to put it out necessarily. It wasn’t like, “Oh, let’s do this shot!” It wasn’t set up. And then they just put it out. It was just a snapshot and I really didn’t think anyone would care. I didn’t even remember it until I started getting vehement hate mail.”

Haha!! Of COURSE it wasn't planned…. And it's just 'happened' that Sean decided to reverse the role in the original Rolling Stones photo?
YEAH… SURE!
