Rick “DJ Double R” Rubin Was The Beastie Boys Original DJ
Rick Rubin produced the first Beastie Boys album "Licensed To Ill" for Def Jam Records and also served as their DJ on stage as DJ Double R when they opened for Madonna on her "Like A Virgin" tour. He appears in some of The Beastie Boys early photos.
