The girl on the cover of the Hole album "Live Through This" is model Leilani Bishop.  She was photographed in 1994 wearing beauty pageant attire with a tiara and a bouquet of flowers, with mascara running down her eyes in tears of joy. 

Courtney Love stated in an interview that she "wanted to capture the look on a woman's face as she's being crowned… this sort of ecstatic, blue eyeliner running, kind of 'I am, I am— I won!
