May 14, 2016 – Chevy Metal is a professional Rock N’ Roll cover band featuring members of the Foo Fighters that specializes in playing, as they call it “Dirt Rock & Moldy Oldies”.
The band founded by Foo’s drummer Taylor Hawkins and his friend bassist Wiley Hodgden rocked the 60th Annual Conejo Valley Days in Thousand Oaks, California with guitarist Mick Murphy and special guest part-time Chevy Metal member Dave Grohl. feelnumb.com was there stage-left as close as you can get, filming and taking photos of the concert.
Chevy Metal tore into some classics by stadium acts Van Halen, The Rollings Stones, Tom Petty & Billy Joel as well as songs by one-hit wonders by The Knack (My Sharona) and The Vapors (Turning Japanese).
