Pat Smear has never forgotten his punk rock roots. After having been a member of Nirvana and an on again, off again member of the Foo Fighters, he still reminds himself of his first band from 1976-1980 Germs.
On Smear’s signature Hagstrom Guitar he added a small subtle nod to the Germs.

Pat’s musical pedigree makes him one of the most interesting men in rock. I actually confirmed one of the coolest facts about Smear, he was an extra in the Prince “Raspberry Beret” music video.
