After almost 30 years, Led Zeppelin famously performed their first full-length concert since the death of their drummer John Bonham at the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert on December 10, 2007. For the reunion show, I noticed Page altered his Orange Guitar Amplifier Heads to make a cheeky sexual connotation ORGE…
Pat Smear has never forgotten his punk rock roots. After having been a member of Nirvana and an on again, off again member of the Foo Fighters, he still reminds himself of his first band from 1976-1980 Germs.
One of Dave Grohl’s most well known guitars is this custom black Flying-V used in the Foos 2011 “Rope” music video. The history behind this guitar is pretty awesome. It was originally custom built by Dave Dearnaley in Cardiff UK in or around 1984 for Phil Campbell of Motörhead.

If I was able to morph into an 80’s Pop Superhero I would be riding Prince’s “Purple Rain” motorcycle, wearing Michael Jackson’s white glove and I’d be dressed in George Michael’s jeans, boots, aviator shades & leather jacket get from the “Faith” video.
The guitar Frampton principally used on the album and pictured on the album cover is a distinctive black custom 1954 Gibson Les Paul Electric Guitar (with three humbucking pick-ups as opposed to the usual two). It was lost in a plane crash in Venezuela.
Joe Perry married his second wife Billie Montgomery in 1985 after they met on the set of his Joe Perry Project “Black Velvet Pants” video in 1983. Perry loves his beautiful wife so much he had her likeness airbrushed on his guitar.
