When Gun’s N’ Roses released their “Lies” E.P. after the success of “Appetite For Destruction” the album cover was a parody of tabloid newspapers. Two statements about domestic abuse that were on the original album cover had to be removed and replaced. Here is the original version that included the statements, “Wife-beating has been around for 10,000 years” and “Ladies, welcome to the dark ages”.

Izzy Stradlin left Guns N’ Roses on November 7, 1991 at the height of their fame and at the end of the bands European tour. Use Your Illusions I & II were at the top of the charts and “Don’t Cry” was their newest single. Stradlin played his last show with Guns N’ Roses was on August 31, 1991 at Wembley Stadium in London.

Back in Guns N’ Roses heyday, Axl Rose was so bad ass he used to wear these custom old school Converse Weapons High-top tennis shoes with AXL monogrammed on the tongue…..Unlike basketball players, Axl did not have a shoe contract with Converse and after doing a bit of research we found out that the shoes were actually custom made and never available for sale.
