When Gun’s N’ Roses released their “Lies” E.P. after the success of “Appetite For Destruction” the album cover was a parody of tabloid newspapers. Two statements about domestic abuse that were on the original album cover had to be removed and replaced. Here is the original version that included the statements, “Wife-beating has been around for 10,000 years” and “Ladies, welcome to the dark ages”.

The covers for the Guns N’ Roses albums Use Your Illusion I & Use Your Illusion II use the same artwork but with different color schemes. Use Your Illusions I uses warm colors red & orange. While Use Your Illusion II uses cool colors blue & purple.

Izzy Stradlin left Guns N’ Roses on November 7, 1991 at the height of their fame and at the end of the bands European tour. Use Your Illusions I & II were at the top of the charts and “Don’t Cry” was their newest single. Stradlin played his last show with Guns N’ Roses was on August 31, 1991 at Wembley Stadium in London.
