Jim Morrison was born to George and Clara Morrison on December 8, 1943 in Melbourne, Florida. His his sister Anne Robin Morrison was born in 1947 in Alburquerque, New Mexico and his brother Andrew Lee Morrison was born in 1948 in Los Altos, California.

Pamela Courson was Jim Morrison’s long-term companion having dated him from when she met him in 1965 until she found him dead in a bathtub on July 3, 1971 in France. On April 25, 1974, less than three years after the death of Jim Morrison, Courson herself died of a heroin overdose on the living room couch at this Los Angeles apartment.
