In 2009, another member of Nirvana made a cameo appearance with the late Robin Williams in the black comedy “World’s Greatest Dad” written and directed by an old Nirvana friend comedian Bob Goldthwait. Krist Novoselic stars in a non-speaking role as a newsstand dealer.

In 1987-1988 songwriters Eugene Kelly and Frances McKee from Glasgow, Scotland known as The Vaselines released 2 EP records with a combined total of 7 songs. Of those 7 songs mega-fan Kurt Cobain would cover 3 of them with Nirvana. Cobain labelled the duo his, “favorite songwriters in the whole world”.
Check out this iPhone video I recorded of Grohl speaking about the influence of The Beatles as a band and of Ringo Starr’s influence on his own drumming. It’s a great straight from the heart unscripted question and answer about Ringo…
I mess up on feelnumb.com all the time and trust me, the moment I do everyone lets me know what an idiot I am. Feelnumb.com is a small one man operation but you’d think Rolling Stone Magazine, The Huffington Post and the BBC would have a whole staff dedicated to proof reading and making sure everything is perfect.
Dave Grohl on his Black Flag tattoo: “When I was 12 or 13, I gave myself a Black Flag tattoo, prison style, with a needle and pen ink.” Years later Grohl didn’t forget about his childhood heroes and paid homage to Black Flag by playing a Dan Armstrong Luctie Guitar.
Kurt Cobain wrote the song “Dumb” in the summer of 1990 but the first version to be officially released was on the Nirvana In Utero album in 1993. Check out his (NOT FINISHED) lyrics from the Kurt Cobain Journals book where he proudly proclaims:
“I Think I’m Dumb”

I recently came across this really cool photo of Krist Novoselic on stage playing a pink “Hello Kitty” guitar. After doing a bit of research on the guitar I found out it is a “Hello Kitty Stratocaster” by Squier (Fender).
These are the last known photos of Kurt Cobain alive. They were taken at Seattle Sea-Tac Airport on March 12, 1994 after Cobain had returned to the United States from Rome, Italy following his March 4th overdose and eventual recovery.
I’ve seen Mickey Mouse play just about every instrument. Piano, Flute, Drums, Bass, & Guitar. It;s not wonder that John Lennon, Brian WIlson, Joe Walsh, John Frusciante, Anthony Kiedis, Dave Grohl, Michael Jackson, Psy all have rocked a Mickey Mouse Shirt.
