Pink Floyd Name Dropped The Beatles “Lucy In The Sky” With Diamonds

The lyrics in the Pink Floyd song Let There Be More Light” from the 1968 album A Saucerful Of Secrets contains a quick reference to The Beatles song “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.”

Here are the lyrics below…

pink floyd the beatles let there be light lucy in the sky with diamonds

The outer lock rolled slowly back

The service men were heard to sigh

For there revealed in glowing robes

Was Lucy in the sky?
