Foo Fighters Taylor Hawkins “The Goo Goo Dolls”, “Captain Beyond” & “Robbie Williams” Drum Kit Heads

As the story goes “first hand”…Taylor Hawkins and friends were at a Mexican Restaurant before a show for one of his side projects, a bad ass 70’s rock cover band called Chevy Metal. A guy came up to Taylor and asked him if he was the guy from The Goo Goo Dolls, so as a joke later that night they added The Goo Goo Dolls to his drum kit head.

Also, with the Foo Fighters, Taylor sometimes plays a drum kit with Captain Beyond on it in reference to the 70’s rock band.

UPDATE:  A feelnumb.com reader Criss informed us that Hawkins once played a show with Robbie Williams on his drum head at a MTV in London show at the Scala on March 4, 2000.

He also had "Robbie Williams" written on his bass drumhead around 2000 when they played a gig for MTV in London at the Scala.
