Pink Floyd “Dark Side Of The Moon” Original Album Inserts

The original Pink FloydDark Side of the Moon” album not only had the famous “Prism” logo on the front cover but it also came with several extra inserts inside the LP.  The album included two posters and two stickers.

Poster #1 showed the band in concert, overlaid with scattered letters to form the words PINK FLOYD.

Poster #2 was an infrared photograph of The Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, created by Aubrey Powell and Storm Thorgerson.

These really cool stickers continued with the Pyramid theme as well.  Sticker #1 signified Day.

Sticker #2 signified Night.

The original first pressing of vinyl also had a solid light blue prism on the actual record label.

I wouldn’t mind getting one of these with stickers and posters still intact.

  1. says:

Just picked up the German pressing (on Harvest green label), but the inserts are different. In the German pressing, the live poster is still there cept the pyramid poster is blue and the pyramids are closer. Instead of 2 stickers you get the small poster version (same dimensions as the stickers). Anyhow, thought you might be interested in that.
