Nirvana Band Photo wiith Frances Bean Cobain at Pachyderm Studios 1993

I recently came across this photo of Nirvana with Frances Bean Cobain sitting on the lap of her father Kurt Cobain in front of a cozy fireplace.

I knew this fireplace looked familiar and then I finally placed it.  It is in the guest house at Pachyderm Studios in Cannon Falls, Minneapolis where Nirvana recorded “In Utero” in February of 1993.  Here’s a photo from the Pachyderm Studio website (please note the same fireplace tools)…

There aren’t many photos or footage of Nirvana recording “In Utero” but here is a short clip that surfaced of Nirvana at Pachyderm Studios filmed by Courtney Love.
