Elvis Presley died on August 16, 1977 in the bathroom of his Graceland mansion in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 42. He had been on the toilet reading a book but had fallen off onto the floor, where he lay in a pool of his own vomit. The book Elvis was reading at the time of his death was “A Scientific Search For The Face Of Jesus” by Frank Adams published in 1972.
“The King” had specifically requested it a few weeks earlier, having heard that it proved the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin, said to be Jesus’ burial wrapping. I wonder how far he got into the book and what page he was on? R.I.P Elvis Presley.
