Foo Fighters released the single “Stacked Actors” on January 17, 2000 as the second single off their 1999 album “There’s Nothing Left To Lose”.
“‘Stacked Actors‘ is about everything that is fake and everything that is plastic and glamorous and unreal, so if that pertains to anyone that comes to mind, there you go.” – Dave Grohl
That explanation makes the artwork on the import CD single perfectly appropriate.
It may not look like much to the “naked eye” but Grohl gave away the secret of the album cover photo in this autograph given to fan Kevin Bishop.
Yup, the album cover is a professional photo of a 90’s Silicone Gel Breast Implant similar to this one below…
On a side note: Grohl initially wrote this song for Ozzy Osbourne after Ozzy asked him to write a song for what would be his 2001 “Down To Earth” album. Ozzy turned down the track but Grohl liked it and added it to the Foos “There’s Nothing Left To Lose” album.
