Paul McCartney Adds Pittsburgh Penguins Sticker To “Red Wings” Epiphone Texan Guitar

Paul McCartney wrote and recorded the song “Yesterday” on his 1964 Acoustic Epiphone Texan Guitar. In 1976, while WIngs was playing a concert in Detroit, Paul stuck a Detroit Red Wings sticker given to him by a fan on the guitar and it has been there ever since. Flea’s ’61 Shell Pink Fender Jazz Bass With D. Boon Sticker

Flea’s super rare vintage “Shell Pink” ’61 Fender Jazz Bass” sports a sticker of D. Boon, former lead singer of the Minutemen. Flea used this bass to record the Red Hot Chili Peppers album “Stadium Arcadium” and even toured with it for a short while. The bass is extremely valuable because it is one of very few original “Shell Pink” jazz bases ever produced by Fender.
