Scott Weiland and The Wildabouts were to perform tonight at the Medina Entertainment Center in Medina, Minnesota. Sadly, Weiland was found dead on the bus around 9:00 PM shortly before the band was to perform.

Flipping through photos we noticed that another rocker, Scott Weiland wore a SS Nazi hat on stage with Velvet Revolver. Unlike Page it nearly got him arrested in Germany.
The Stone Temple Pilots second album is titled, “Purple.” The strange fact about that title is that the word “Purple” is only written as a Chinese character on the cover, and noticeably absent anywhere else on the albums art. “Purple” is not on the back cover, the spine, the inside or on the disc itself.
