It was like the last 11 days or so, and he was kind of okay. But it was weird, there was about 50 people working for them, all these people putting up lights and computers and everything.

D’Arcy Wretzky was a founding member and bass player for The Smashing Pumpkins from 1988–1999. She left the band to pursue an acting career, although, Billy Corgan later said, “she was fired for being a mean spirited drug addict who refused to get help.” That’s where things started to go wrong for D’Arcy.
