On January 23, 2000 Dave Grohl was arrested for “Drink-Driving” after the Foo Fighters played the Big Day Out festival on the Gold Coast of Australia. Although it is no laughing matter, Grohl was popped after driving a scooter and blowing a .095.

Looks like Taylor Hawkins has added a new The Beatles Drop T Logo inspired bass drum head to his Foo Fighters drum kit. Bad Ass!!! Here’s Hawkins’ Foo FIghters logo next to Ringo Starr’s The Beatles logo…
Led Zeppelin played the Knebworth Festival on August 4th and 11th 1979 at Knebworth House in Hertordshire, England in front of an estimated 200,000 fans. For these concerts Led Zeppelin made this special limited edition t-shirt that also served as a backstage pass.
The Foo Fighters have released the trailer to their upcoming movie “Back and Forth” which chronicles the 16 year history of the Foo Fighters. Looks pretty interesting…
Part Two of Rock Stars yearbook photos…Layne Staley, Axl Rose, Taylor Hawkins, Jay Z, Steven Tyler & Jack White. Enjoy…
When not playing drums for the Foo Fighters, Taylor Hawkins along with bassist/vocalist Wiley Hodgden will play small bars and clubs all over Los Angeles with his cover band Chevy Metal. At these shows you never know who will show up. On this particular night at the Malibu Inn on Dec 6, 2008, Stewart Copeland from The Police surprised everyone by sitting behind the drum kit for a song.
In 2003, the Foo Fighters recorded a cover of the Prince song “Darling Nikki,” which they included as a B-side on the Australian version of their “Have It All” single.
As the story goes “first hand”…Taylor Hawkins and friends were at a Mexican Restaurant before a show for one of his side projects, a bad ass 70’s rock cover band called Chevy Metal. A guy came up to Taylor and asked him if he was the guy from The Goo Goo Dolls, so as a joke later that night they added The Goo Goo Dolls to his drum kit head.
Check out my good friends Chevy Metal doing a bad ass cover of Queen’s Under Pressure at The Canyon Club. Achim Dangerfield – Guitar, Taylor Hawkins – Drums & Wiley Hodgden – Bass.
